Erik Pelkmans — Recruitment Consultant
With over 35 years of experience in HR and recruitment, Erik Pelkmans is one of the most seasoned independent recruitment professionals in the Netherlands.
Erik began his career in 1990 as an HR adviser within the technical industry. Over the years that followed, he built his expertise on both sides of the table — as an HR adviser, as an in-house talent acquisition professional, and as a consultant at established recruitment agencies. That combination of perspectives makes him unique: he understands the challenges employers face from the inside, while knowing exactly how to approach and engage the market effectively.
In 2016, Erik made a deliberate choice: to go his own way and channel his knowledge and network into Talenteer. Not to serve the masses, but to work with organisations that value a committed and expert partner.
Since 2017, Erik has been intensively active in the pharmaceutical industry, managing recruitment assignments for large US-based multinationals across Europe, the Middle East, and occasionally the US and Far East. Prior to that, he built extensive experience in the maritime industry, oil & gas, high-tech, IT and the public sector.
Erik is based in the north of the Netherlands and works from there on a global scale.
